Purpose of the Calendar
This calendar is designed to showcase events that encourage visitors to travel to Jackson County, NC, and stay overnight. It is not intended to serve as a general community calendar for local activities. Events should provide strong appeal to tourists and enhance the destination experience.
Submission Guidelines

Public Access: Events must be open to the general public.

Tourism Appeal: Preference is given to events that highlight the unique culture, history, outdoors, and attractions of Jackson County, and that have the potential to draw overnight visitors.

Editorial Review: We reserve the right to edit or modify event descriptions for clarity, length, or promotional tone.

Review Timeline: Please allow 5–7 business days for your request to be reviewed and, if approved, uploaded to the calendar.
