2024 Meeting Dates

The Jackson County TDA’s annual meeting schedule is as follows: the JCTDA will hold its Regular Meeting on the following dates as a mixed virtual format at 1:00 p.m., JCTDA Office, 98 Cope Creek Road, Suite D, Sylva, North Carolina: January 17 (Canceled), February 21, March 20, April 17, May 15, June 19, July 10, August 15, September 25, October 16, November 13, and December 4.

They will hold mixed virtual Executive Committee meetings on the following dates at 1:00 p.m., JCTDA Office, 98 Cope Creek Road, Suite D, Sylva, North Carolina: January 10 (Canceled), February 7, March 13, April 10, May 8, June 12, July 3, August 8, September 18, October 9, November 6, and November 27

FY 24-25 Budget Public Hearing

The Jackson County Tourism Development Authority will hold a mixed virtual/in-person public hearing on the fiscal year 2024-25 proposed budget at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday, June 19.

A copy of the proposed budget for the Jackson County TDA is on file in the Jackson County Finance Office, located in the Jackson County Justice & Administration Building, 401 Grindstaff Cove Road; the Jackson County Tourism Development Authority Office, 98 Cope Creek Road, Suite D, Sylva. The proposed budget will be available for public inspection at these places and is online at this link.

Members of the public are invited to participate in the hearing and offer comments on the proposed budget. Written and/or oral comments will be accepted.
