Located in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Mountain Farm Museum simulates a 19th-century farm, complete with barnyard animals. The farmstead features educational programs during the summer; a schedule can be found at the adjacent Oconaluftee Visitors Center.

From Dillsboro, follow the signs for US 74 West/US 441 North toward Cherokee. After about 10 miles, take the Cherokee exit (US 441), which also lists Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Stay on US 441 North, which will enter the Park after about 7 miles. Mountain Farm Museum’s entrance is 1.9 miles on the right after entering the Park.
