The one-mile trail (two mile loop) starts crossing a large footbridge, winds around a scenic stretch of the Tuckasegee River and offers runners, walkers and cyclists recreational opportunities. There is a kids bike park along the route and gentle grade and shade provided, making it perfect for anytime of the day.
Directions: The trail has two entrances. To access it from Sylva – turn onto Old Cullowhee Road from N.C. 107 and proceed past Locust Creek and Rolling Green. You’ll see the parking area located on the right. From Cullowhee: the trail starts at the end of Monteith Gap Road.
