Tanasee Creek Lake
The smallest of the community lakes, this 40-acre gem offers great fishing and paddling.
Much of Tanasee Creek Lake’s shoreline is within the Nantahala National Forest, and there are several primitive campsites that can be accessed by boat, though the lake is too small for most motor boats. The public access point is off NC 281 near where Tanasee Creek enters the lake.
