Cedar Cliff Lake

The lowest in elevation of the East Fork lakes, Cedar Cliff is known for fishing and swimming.

Cedar Cliff Lake is conveniently located near the Tuckasegee community. Public access is available from Shook Cove Road, which intersects with NC 107 just south of the 107/281 intersection.

Cedar Cliff Lake, along with Wolf Creek Lake, Bear Creek Lake, and Tanasee Creek Lake, make up what is known as East Fork Lakes.

Bear Lake Access Area will be temporarily closed from September 6 until mid-November as the lake is drawn down for required maintenance

Cedar Cliff and Wolf Creek Access Areas will also be temporarily impacted in October and November

The Access Area boat ramp will be inoperable during this time

*Beginning September 3rd paddlers, anglers and other recreational users of the East Fork and Mainstem of the Tuckasegee River may experience higher than normal flows
