Downtown Sylva is lined with a collection of eclectic restaurants and shops and boasts one of the Top 10 American Brewery Tours by Trip Advisor. The town itself was named one of the Top 10 Cleanest Cities in the US by Expedia.com and features a stunning Tree Walk showcasing over 50 different species of trees.
With elevations exceeding 5,000 feet, Sylva’s Pinnacle Park has some of the most challenging hiking trails, waterfalls and fishing in all of western North Carolina. Sylva is also home to Mountain Heritage Trout Waters, and visitors are invited to bring their fishing gear. Every Saturday between May and October, downtown Sylva hosts one of the largest farmers markets in Western North Carolina, where locally-grown produce, plants and artisan goods are sold.
