Scholé on the Tuck
Scholé on the Tuck is situated on the Tuckasegee River within the designated delayed harvest waters. We cater to flyfishermen/women, or couples who want to experience the beauty of Jackson County and Western North Carolina
Scholé on the Tuck offers year round lodging on and access to the Tuckasegee River where visitors can fish or raft. Some visitors may prefer to motorcycle or bicycle the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway, hike one of the many trails in the Smoky Mountains, antique shop, and/or attend one of the many local art or music festivals or sporting events. Others may be inspired to take a private or public art lesson or simply meander on the property with art supplies or a writing journal. In the evening, visitors can dine al fresco and enjoy their home cooked fish from the backyard grill or simply relax with a beverage while taking in the river from the immense front porch or the unique olivine serpentine rocks and rare plants from the back deck. In cooler weather, there are comfortable seats by the fireplace or marshmallow to roast over the outdoor firepit.
