The Loft at Harvest Moon Gardens
The Loft at Harvest Moon Gardens is nestled in the heart of the Southern Appalachian Mountains. A peaceful get away from a busy world, the Loft is a mountain paradise.
Located at Harvest Moon Gardens, the home of landscape designer, Marsha Crites, The Loft is situated on 10 wooded acres surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest. The wooded trails are fun to walk, with several bridges over small waterfalls, lots of native plants and wildflowers, lovely views, and a small spring fed pond. The spring water is pure and local elders claim once you drink it you'll have to return.
About The Loft at Harvest Moon Gardens
A fully furnished kitchen and large bath with roll in shower and laundry facility, make staying in the Loft convenient. The interior space features locally sourced pine walls and a cathedral ceiling letting in lovely Northern light. Fabrics and furnishings from all over the world offer an eclectic decor. The main living and sleeping space includes a very comfortable queen sized bed and a queen size futon as well. The deck offers a great place to enjoy a cool breeze, eat outside, listen to the frogs and crickets sing, and view the stars. We are open all winter, but in bad weather highly recommend 4 wheel drive vehicles.
