Autumn is here, bringing along with it crisp, clean, and cool mountain air and the beauty of changing leaves. In celebration of the new season, we invite you to submit your best fall pictures captured in Jackson County during our ‘Fall for the NC Mountains’ photo contest running now through November 13th, 2022. Weekdays offer the best and least crowded time to go explore, so cash in your PTO, snap some photos and enter for a chance to cash out with a free two-night stay at Hotel Cashiers.

Here are the details:

  • Submit Your Photos: Share with us your favorite fall photos that you’ve captured in Jackson County using the link below. Images can range from stunning mountain vistas to enjoying your favorite hikes, outdoor adventures, and more. Get creative and have fun! Review our Terms and Conditions before entering.
  • Now You’re Entered: Limited to one entry per participant. The winner will be selected by JCTDA Staff and announced and tagged on our Instagram page (@discoverjacksonnc) & story on November 14th, 2022.
  • Spread the Love: by using the #FallForNCMountains hashtag when you share your photos to Instagram
