Dill Falls
Located in Nantahala National Forest, this three-stage cascade is sure to impress kids of all ages.
Dills Falls can be found in Jackson County’s Canada community on Tanasee Creek and makes for a great family excursion. Even young children can make the five-minute walk from the parking area down to the falls.

From Sylva, take NC 107 South past Western Carolina University to Tuckasegee. At the NC 107/NC 281 intersection, turn left onto NC 281. Continue about 8.5 miles and then turn left onto Charleys Creek Road (SR 1756). Continue approximately 11 miles until that road ends at NC 215. Turn left onto NC 215 and travel one-half mile before turning left onto Forest Service Road 4663. Travel approximately 1.9 miles on gravel road and then bear left onto FS 4663B. Travel one-half mile and park in wide area where gravel ends. Follow the short, downhill trail to the base of the waterfall.
